This scratch event has been a Lansing tradition for well over 50 years originating with the 69-70 season won by Hall of Famer Jack Curry.

1st place - guaranteed at least $1200

Tournament Type:  Scratch Singles Match Play  

Location:  Royal Scot Bowling Center

Date and Time:  Qualify - December 6 at Noon Round Robin & Finals - December 7 at 1pm

Entry Fees and Payouts:  $100 per bowler.  1st place - at least $1200 (based on min. 40 entries)

Rules (based on min. 40 entries):  

• Qualifying is 6 games across 6 pairs on Saturday.  Cut the field in half. 
• 2 additional games will be bowled cutting to top 10 based on total pin fall for all 8 games.  
• Bowlers making the cut will compete Sunday in round robin.  All qualifying games carry forward plus 30 points awarded for each win plus pinfall to determine stepladder seeding.
•  4-man single game step ladder to determine champion.
• All bowlers qualifying for Sunday will cash. 
• A qualifying bowler that drops out at any point will only receive a prize equal to the entry fee. 
• For entries of 32 - 39, qualifying will set 8 bowlers and payouts adjusted.  All other rules apply as written
• For entries of 24 - 31, qualifying will set 6 bowlers and payouts adjusted.  All other rules apply as written
• Entries below 24, format will be revamped and announced at the center the day of event
• Entry breakdown - $30 lineage and expenses + $70 prize fund = $100 entry fee per bowler
